Beautiful Piece that is destroyed by me **Sigh**

I did this piece at the request of my sister. This was done on 14ct Aida using 2 strands of floss. Seeing how well it turned out and I love this verse, I decided to do another one, but on 22-ct over 4 squares and using 3 strands of floss instead. And the results is ......... YUCKY!

After so much stitching on this piece, enough is enough. I had better discard it instead of continuing with it. The stitching is HORRID!

Lessons learnt :-

  1. When using 3 strands of floss, it's best to clip the fabric to a frame or hoop. This will help correct the tension.
  2. Use a slightly lighter coloured fabric when the floss is yellow.
  3. Give up the stitching earlier instead of waiting till much has been done.

Let's hope my next duplicate piece will be better. I'm doing another 3 of this - 2 for Billie's teachers and 1 for my another sister.
