Tokyo, Japan Trip 2012 - Day 0

Alright, finally get down to recording this here so that I can remember years down the road (my memory isn't as good as my hubby's or Billie).

That evening, it was thunderstorm and lasts for an hour or so. Can you imagine how worried I was! When the rain finally stopped, we went to take a cab to Changi Airport.

Here comes another shock! From the moment we boarded the cab till we hit the highway, we have to pass 3 traffic lights and they are all D-O-W-N and there's no traffic marshal! The first 2 were easy to judge and go but the third was at a cross-road. Poor Uncle had to be extra careful and mindful and we finally got to the highway. Phew!

We were early and were not sure if we could check in earlier and I went to ask and before I knew it, there were a few in the queue. Apparently, these were the families who were like me, unsure if checking in early was possible. They just had to wait for someone to do the asking and they rushed to get to the front of the queue. **Sigh**.

Never mind. After checking in our luggages, we went to Subway. No, not Burger King, but Subway. Yep, I love Subway, not just Subway, but all food.

Then we went through the checkpoint and this is where I made the first blunder. I was walking in front of the two of them and I went straight to the first counter. The Service staff was nice and I took 2 Fox sweets and went to wait for the both of them. Funny, they were nowhere to be found. Then I saw Billie coming after me and noticed that she was already inside! She was laughing and told me that I should use the fingerprinting instead. That was when I remembered I could have taken the easier way out. See, age's catching up on me.

There, we walked around and took some pictures and the theme at that time was "Angry Birds".

Okay, I'm not a great fan of Angry Birds, though I find them cute. Took the pics because we hadn't been taking much photos.
