Taking Things for GRANTED!

For the past 2 to 3 months, I was trying out a "remedy" for diabetes. It says that some diabetics were actually "cured"! Alright, I have long passed the dream of having my diabetes "cured". This is a chronic disease and the best fight is to ensure the blood glucose stays as close to that of a non-diabetic as possible.

The "remedy" can be found when you search for "lady fingers" and "diabetes". Here's what it says :-

Okra was tried and the diabetic found it effective as his Sugar is in control now.


This is how Okra is prepared and taken:
 
1. Take two pieces of Lady Finger and remove/cut both ends of each piece.
2. Make a small cut in the middle.
3. Place these two pieces in glass of water.
4. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night.
5. Early in the following morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger from the glass and drink the water.

 
This has to be done on daily.
 
Results should appear within two weeks. There will be a remarkable reduction in the blood sugar level.

 
The problem with me is I take this "remedy" for granted, so much so that I start to get a little wild on my intake of comfy food. I still take my regular oral medication. Result is worse blood glucose level. And I start to get tingling feelings on my right leg (from where I also suffer from knee problems) - feelings of tremors, quivering. This is bad and I know for sure it's not due to my knee.
 
So, to everyone out there, pls do NOT take things for granted. This "remedy" is good (at least it helps me overcome my constipation problem) and will be better if I DON'T assume that with this, I can eat whatever I want and at whatever quantity I want.
 
I will still continue with this and I hope my glucose level will be as close to that of a normal person's as possible in a month's time.
